Andreia Chaves makes coool shoooz

ONCE UPON A TIME in Sau Paulo, Brazil, there lived a talented footwear designer who created a magical shoe that turned your feet into beautiful, mirrored chameleons. Her name was Andreia Chaves, and there’s really no reason for me to keep referring to her in the past tense, because she still exists, and not only that, her magical, {aptly titled} “invisible shoes” are finally going into production! Andreia has barely begun her career in shoe biz, and already she is getting tons of attention with her innovative designs. Chaves is also responsible for concepts like the prism shoe, and the form and texture shoe (shown below with others). Her work is both visually appealing, and intellectual, redefining our perception of what is normally worn on the foot. She pushes her designs to almost fictional limits. But the good news is, these shoes are no longer fictional. They can be enjoyed by all, and that makes for a very happy ending.
