Hark! ‘Tis the sound of darkness- spilling over the desolate nothingness that once was a soul, filling the minds of those who choose to wait in despair as they rot in the blackness eternalllll. Hahaha! Just kidding guys. This is Hands of Cain- Greek dark wave that I dug up from the underworld.
Hands of Cain formed in 1983 in Athens Greece, by ex-members of punk band Ausschwitss, which was one of the very first punk rock bands to emerge within the Greek punk scene. (Not to mention, these guys were only 15 when they started). Hands of Cain were together a mere two years before their break up in 1985, after which they vanished -never to be heard from again… UNTIL …22 years after their break up, when Mark Schaffer of AnnaLouge records discovered some HOC demos, and in 2009, all existing Hands of Cain material was brought to light … or dark. Yay!
