Iris Van Herpen A/W 2010

I'm dying. Iris Van Herpen's Fall/Winter 2010 collection uses glorious textures and shapes to create other-worldly silhouettes. Cleverly placed metallics and leather strips are sculpted around the body, resulting in what I deem as the most phenomenal collection I've seen this season. Van Herpen, who graduated from ARTEZ- Institute of the Arts claims the collection was “inspired by the cross -sensational phenomenon of feeling sound, smelling motion, and hearing color.” (via pleatfarm). What was that you said, Iris? 'Sensational?' Yes. I'd have to agree with you there.
